Merced Rapallini

Partner

A proud member of the Honor’s Society, as a young teenager full of accolades for her excellence and driven spirit, Merced attended BYU where she graduated from the Marriott School of Management with a degree in Management Information Systems.

When it comes to financials very few people possess the body of knowledge reflecting Merced’s vast experience in the field. Merced has a corporate and business start-up background that spans 19 years. Prior to graduating college, Merced was engaged by Oracle to join their team as an Enterprise Resource Planning Consultant for Magnetek, Inc. a $1.2 billion dollar New York Stock Exchange company at the time. She then moved to Silicon Valley while working as a Software Engineer for Siebel Systems, Inc., a Fortune 500 Company later acquired by Oracle.

After her tenure in these successful companies where she supervised and trained staff up to 130 personnel and was part of a team responsible for a revenue of $1.79 billion in the year of 2000-01, Merced realized that the corporate world was not for her and decided to pursue her own entrepreneurial dreams. Merced then set off to take advantage of her Business School education and founded Cirrus Capital. Soon after founding her company, new startup businesses in the Salt Lake City area  began seeking her assistance with financial analysis, marketing plans, revenue projections, cash flow projections, break-even points and financing. As she assisted well over 30 of these businesses to obtain funding, Cirrus Capital, an Asset Management/Financial Analysis business, also expanded to Real Estate Property Investment  and Merced soon became an investor in considerable amounts of properties pursuing her goal to work as a developer in the future. Her passion for Real Estate investment and Developing is still very much alive to this day.

Merced's experience with start-up business planning, marketing, and business development makes her a natural and obvious choice to be part of EmmeDue, where she became a Co-Founder alongside Matteo.

Naturally, EmmeDue was founded on strong principles; the studio loves to have a multidisciplinary approach. What most people do not know about Merced is that for many years she longed to explore her passion for design  which she was once not allowed to pursue at a young age. After some soul-searching, in the beginning of 2016 Merced realized that besides business, she has always been fiercely passionate about design and that the time to pursue a long lost dream had finally arrived. As she fears no challenge and absolutely loves to keep busy, she is also currently training to become an ASID certified and licensed Interior Designer.

Merced speaks English, Spanish and Italian, in her free time she enjoys traveling the world and aims to incorporate her broad cultural knowledge and experience in her future practice as an Interior Designer.
