Artist Studio
A local artist read an article about Matteo in the local paper. He contacted EmmeDue for help with designing a space addition to his house. Matteo visited the client's home and was soon deeply inspired by the dedication to painting and woodworking which he observed as the client showed him all of his work. The Studio Addition is designed to be simple, yet a celebration to the making of art.

The narrow thirteen foot red door is only one foot wide, was requested by the client inspired by Cezanne's Studio in Aix-en-Provence, France.
The tall windows facing North bring in natural light through tall glass windows which are also analogous to the French artist Atelier, now a museum. As the client's admiration for Cezanne was awe inspiring, Matteo drew inspiration from the historic studio to design a space which would inspire creativity and provide a distinguished experience for the local artist who he describes as "an inspiring person truly dedicated and in love with what he does".
